Pickup ironing collapses to a two-minute handoff at your door. We collect the items, press them on commercial equipment at our La Mesa facility, hang them, and bring them back the next business day. Pricing is flat: $4.50 per item for shirts, pants, blouses, polos, skirts, and casual dresses.
The full pickup runs $5.99, and orders need to clear $49.99 before pressing or transport, most pressing customers stack their order with wash and fold or dry cleaning to hit the minimum without thinking about it.

Wedding parties. Groomsmen’s shirts and pants were pressed and hung the day before the rehearsal. We deliver to the hotel or the house.

How much is pressing?
Flat $4.50 per item for dress shirts, blouses, pants, khakis, polos, linen shirts, skirts, and casual dresses. A 2-piece suit cleaned and pressed runs $22.50. Pickup fee is $5.99, and the minimum order is $49.99 combined across all services.
What is the turnaround?
Next business day. Schedule a pickup Monday through Saturday, and the pressed items come back the next business day. Monday pickup means Tuesday delivery, Friday pickup means Saturday or Monday, depending on your delivery preference. Same-day pressing is not offered.
Do you press the cleaner or wash it too?
Both options are available. You can send items for press-only (no wash, just iron and finish) or full wash-and-press if the items also need cleaning. Press-only is faster and cheaper for shirts and pants you have already washed at home, but cannot get crisp on a household iron.
Can I just get pressing without washing?
Yes. Send a stack of clean shirts or pants, and we will press them only. Pricing is the same, $4.50 per item. The $49.99 minimum still applies — most press-only customers add a wash and fold load to clear it easily.
Do you do heavy starch?
Yes. Heavy starch, light starch, or no starch are all options. Set the preference once on your account, and we will apply it to every order. Mixed orders (some heavy, some light) are fine — note it at booking, and we tag the items.
What if my shirt is delicate (linen, silk)?
Linen presses at low heat with no scorching. Silk and similar delicates get steam-finished rather than direct-pressed to avoid heat damage. Flag delicate items at booking, and the driver will note them at pickup.
Do you press wool suits?
Wool suits go through dry cleaning first, then get pressed as part of the cleaning service. A 2-piece suit (jacket and pants) priced at $22.50 includes a clean and press. We do not press wool suits without cleaning them — the press locks in oils and odors.
Are items returned on hangers?
Yes. Pressed items come back on hangers in clear garment bags, ready to hang in the closet. Pants come on clip hangers. Skirts on side-clip hangers. Casual dresses on padded hangers when needed.
Can I subscribe to weekly pressing pickup?
Yes. Set up a recurring weekly or biweekly pickup at Freshly Folded, and the same window repeats automatically. Most executive-wardrobe customers run weekly Monday or Tuesday pickups so the press week starts fresh.
Do you offer same-day pressing?
No. Next-day return is the standard turnaround. If you need a shirt pressed for tomorrow, schedule a pickup today before the cutoff, and it will come back the next business day. For weekend events, schedule a Friday pickup for Saturday return.
