Cut your laundry bill 6% with a weekly subscription

$2.35 per pound, picked up at your door, returned the next day. A typical San Diego household saves around $885 a year vs on-request service.

How the subscription works

Sign up once, then we handle the rest. Your laundry becomes a routine, not a chore.

1

Pick your weekly pickup day

Monday through Saturday, whichever day fits your week.

2

Choose a 2-hour window

Morning, midday, or afternoon. We text you when the driver is on the way.

3

Leave your laundry at the door

No need to be home. We weigh it, wash it, dry it, and fold it.

4

We return it the next day

Same door, same window, freshly folded and bagged.

4

Billing happens automatically

Trycents charges your card on file after each pickup based on the actual dry weight. You only pay for what we wash.

The whole cycle takes one business day. You spend zero time scheduling, zero time at a laundromat, and zero time folding.

The math, in plain English: 50 pounds per week × $0.34 saved per pound = $17 per week $17 per week × 52 weeks = $884.80 saved per year

A two-adult household with kids tends to run 40 to 60 pounds a week. A single professional running gym clothes and bedding through us weekly tends to land around 20 to 30 pounds. Use the calculator above the pricing table to plug in your own number.

If you bring us 30 pounds a week instead of 50, you still save around $530 a year. The discount applies to every pound, every week, with no minimum tier.

Why a subscription beats on-demand

The price discount is the headline, but most subscribers tell us the real win is what they get back: their weekend.

Predictable monthly cost

You can budget your laundry the same way you budget streaming or your gym. No surprise bills.

You never run out of clean clothes

Same day every week means the cycle never breaks. Friday morning panic over kids’ uniforms goes away.

Priority scheduling

Subscription orders go to the front of the queue when our trucks fill up, especially in summer and around the holidays.

6% lower price per pound

Same wash, same machines, same detergents, lower rate.

Same trusted driver each week

Our drivers learn which house is yours, where to leave the bags, and which apartment buzzer to use.

Your preferences are saved

Pick your detergent, your softener (or none), your water temperature, and how you want shirts folded once. We follow it every week without you re-entering anything.

What's included in every wash

Subscription customers get the same care every load. Nothing is downgraded because the rate is lower.

  • ArtiClean ozone sanitization on every load. Hospital-grade ozone kills 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, and odor-causing microbes. Standard. Not an upsell.
  • Five detergent options. Tide, Gain, All Free & Clear (hypoallergenic, fragrance-free), 7th Generation (eco-friendly), and Persil. Pick one, stick with it, or switch any week.
  • Sorted by color and fabric. Whites stay white, darks stay dark, delicates get a gentle cycle.
  • Maytag and Speed Queen commercial machines. Bigger drums, hotter water, longer cycles than a home washer.
  • Folded and bagged. Returned in clean bags, ready to put away.
  • Next-day delivery. Pickup today, back to your door tomorrow. Saturday pickups return Monday.

Why San Diego families pick us over the bigger names

A few honest comparisons, without naming names.

Most national laundry apps lock you into a contract or a credit pack you have to use within a window. Ours doesn’t. You can pause for a vacation, skip a holiday week, or cancel after one pickup. No fees, no fine print.

Some services use a single bulk detergent for every customer because it’s cheaper to run that way. We give you five real choices, including a true hypoallergenic option for sensitive skin and a plant-based option for environmentally-conscious households.

National chains route your laundry through a regional warehouse and subcontract the driving. We’re a family-owned shop in La Mesa. Steve and his wife built it, and the people picking up your bag work for them directly.

The savings claim other subscriptions advertise is real, but the rate is what matters. At $2.35 per pound with no membership fee on top, the math is straightforward. You’re not paying to access a discount; you’re just paying less per pound.

Subscription Frequently Asked Questions

What if I need to skip a week?

Skip anytime through the Trycents app or by texting (619) 389-3206. No fee, no penalty. Skip the week before a vacation, the week relatives are visiting, or any week you don’t have a full bag. Your subscription rate stays the same when you come back.

What if I need extra service one week?

Add a second pickup that week at your normal subscription rate. Big party, kids’ sports tournament, post-camping mountain of sleeping bags — request the extra pickup and pay $2.35 per pound for it.

Can I change my pickup day?

Yes. Update your preferred day in the app or text us. Most customers set Monday or Tuesday so the laundry is back before the weekend, but Saturday works for late-week schedules.

Is there a contract or commitment?

No contract. No minimum number of weeks. No cancellation fee. The subscription is a recurring schedule, not a binding agreement.

How do I cancel?

Text “cancel” to (619) 389-3206 or update your account at app.trycents.com/order/business/OWk2. We confirm by reply. Your card stops being charged immediately, and any pickup already scheduled either runs at the subscription rate or gets cancelled, your choice.

Can I pause for vacation?

Yes. Pause for a week, a month, or longer. The subscription resumes when you say so. Many of our customers pause for August travel and snowbird trips and pick back up in the fall.

What’s the minimum subscription length?

One pickup. If the first week works, keep going. If it doesn’t, cancel after that single pickup with no fee.

What if my volume changes?

The per-pound rate handles it automatically. Some weeks you’ll have 25 pounds, others 60. You’re billed on actual dry weight every time, so a light week costs less and a heavy week costs more. The $49.99 minimum still applies per pickup.

Do you offer commercial subscriptions?

Yes, on a separate plan. Hotels, spas, salons, gyms, vacation rentals, medical offices, and pet care businesses get scheduled commercial pickup with volume pricing. Call (619) 586-5755 to set up a commercial subscription.

How does billing work?

Trycents charges the card on file after each pickup, based on actual dry weight plus the $5.99 transportation fee. You get an itemized receipt by email every time. No upfront credits, no monthly bundle to use up, no expiration on anything. You only pay for what we wash.

Who gets the most out of a subscription?

Plenty of people use us on demand when life gets busy. The subscription wins for households where laundry is a weekly fact of life.

  • Families with kids. School uniforms, sports gear, sheets, towels — the volume is high, and the cycle is predictable. Set Monday pickup, and the school week starts with everything clean.
  • Busy professionals. Long hours, late dinners, no time to start a load on a Tuesday night. The subscription removes laundry from your to-do list entirely.
  • Apartment dwellers without in-unit laundry. No more hauling baskets to a shared room or driving to a laundromat. The driver comes to your unit.
  • Couples with active lifestyles. Surf gear, gym clothes, dog beach towels, hiking layers. Everything gets washed and ozone-sanitized weekly, so workout clothes don’t turn into a science experiment.
  • Single parents. The hours saved per week are real. One bag at the door, one bag back the next day.
  • Roommates splitting costs. Some households split the subscription bill three or four ways. The math still works because the per-pound rate is the same regardless of how many people are in the household.

How to start your subscription

Five steps, about three minutes total.

  1. Go to Freshly Folded and create an account if you don’t have one.
  2. Choose “weekly recurring” as your service type.
  3. Pick your pickup day and 2-hour window. Monday through Saturday.
  4. Save your detergent and folding preferences. Once is all it takes.
  5. Add your payment method. Cards only, billed after each pickup.

Your first pickup runs that week. Your subscription rate of $2.35 per pound applies starting on pickup one — there is no introductory period or higher first-week price. Welcome to a clean closet on autopilot.
