Owning your towels
Freshly Folded does the other thing: we wash the towels you own and give them back.
Owning suits a business that already has stock it likes, wants to pick its own colors and sizes, and would rather pay for washing than for the towels.
We don't supply, rent or replace towels. If you're weighing the two, ask a rental provider for the contract length, the charge per towel and the charge for lost or damaged towels, then set those beside your per-pound quote from us.

Bag the used towels
When you close for the day, used towels go into a bag or bin instead of your washer. Tell us if any were used with oil, wax, hair color, grease or cleaning chemicals so we can sort them before washing.

We pick up
On your pickup day, a driver collects the bags from the spot you agree on with us, such as the front desk or a back door. Pickup hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, and Saturday, 8am to noon.

We wash, dry and fold
We wash every load ourselves; your towels are never subcontracted to someone else's home. They're sorted, washed on commercial Maytag and Speed Queen machines with ArtiClean ozone in every wash cycle, then dried and folded. You choose the detergent: Tide, Gain, All Free & Clear, Seventh Generation or Persil. If your clients have sensitive skin, our hypoallergenic laundry service explains the fragrance-free options.

Commercial towel cleaning is priced by the pound.
Your quote sets the rate from three things:

There's no contract, and Net-30 billing is available once you're past your third month.
Our public price list covers standard household laundry. Commercial towel rates are quoted separately after we know your towels, weekly volume and collection schedule.

to keep on hand
Start with how many towels you use on an open day. Count the open days your used towels will be away, using the return date confirmed in your quote. Add a buffer for your busiest day and any towels already in use when pickup happens.
For example, 60 towels a day over two open days before a confirmed return means 120 towels are needed during that interval. It is an illustration, not a promised return time or a fixed stock target.

Some towels need a look before the first pickup:
Kitchen towels and bar mops
Towels used to wipe up a lot of cooking oil can catch fire when heated, and normal washing may not remove all the oil, as the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission warns. Tell us how greasy yours get and we'll confirm whether and how we can take them.
Microfiber and shop towels
We take them after reviewing the towels and what they were used with. Tell us about any solvent, fuel, oil, wax or polish.
Towels with hair color, wax or massage oil

Tell us about them first. We review kitchen towels, bar mops, microfiber and shop towels before the first pickup, including any cooking oil, grease, solvent, fuel, wax or polish on them, and confirm whether and how we can take them.
