Freshly Folded is a high quality service, priced to be affordable. Our pickup and delivery will free up some of your valuable time so you can do things you want to do instead of what you have to do. Below is pricing for pick up and delivery Laundry Service, Dry Cleaning, Commercial Laundry Service and Pressing.
We provide professional laundry services across these locations, offering transparent, affordable pricing with exceptional quality and convenience.
How much does wash and fold laundry service cost?
$2.49 per pound for weekly scheduled service or $2.69 per pound for on-request service. There’s a $49.99 minimum order and a $5.99 transportation charge. A typical 20-pound household load costs around $50-55 total. All detergents, softeners, ozone sanitization, and special instructions are included, no hidden fees.
What does dry cleaning cost per item?
Dry cleaning is priced by garment: shirts and blouses start at $7.75, pants at $7.75, sweaters at $9.50, simple dresses at $20.00, two-piece suits at $22.50, and three-piece suits at $29.50. Ties are $5.75. Comforters range from $48 to $55, depending on size. All prices include free pickup and delivery.
How much does pressing cost?
Professional pressing is $4.50 per item. You can add pressing to any wash and fold order, the pressing charge is in addition to the per-pound wash and fold rate. Pressing orders can be combined with wash and fold to meet the $49.99 minimum. Pressed items are delivered the next day, with the same turnaround as wash and fold.
Is there a minimum order for laundry pickup?
Yes, $49.99 minimum on all orders. For wash and fold, that’s approximately 16-20 pounds of laundry, depending on your service tier. You can combine different services (wash and fold, pressing, dry cleaning) in a single pickup to meet the minimum. There’s also a $5.99 transportation charge per pickup.
Are there any hidden fees or extra charges?
No. Our pricing is fully transparent. You pay the per-pound or per-item rate plus the $5.99 transportation charge. Premium detergents, fabric softener, ozone sanitization, special instructions, and delivery are all included. What we quote is what you pay — guaranteed.
What’s the difference between weekly and on-request pricing?
Weekly service is $2.49 per pound, you schedule a recurring pickup on the same day each week. On-request service is $2.69 per pound, you schedule pickups whenever you need them with no recurring commitment. Both include the same next-day turnaround, free pickup and delivery, and ozone sanitization.
Do you offer alterations and tailoring?
Yes. We provide basic alterations, including hemming ($8 basic, $14.50 original stitch jeans), zipper repair ($14.50), scout patches ($5), and military patches ($7). Alterations have a 7-10 day turnaround. Include items needing alterations in your regular laundry pickup.
Is wash and press cheaper than dry cleaning?
Yes. Wash and press (wash and fold plus professional pressing at $4.50 per item) is significantly more affordable than dry cleaning for most garments and delivers next-day turnaround vs. 5-7 days for dry cleaning. For items that don’t require solvent-based cleaning, wash and press gives you crisp results at a fraction of the cost.
How much does it cost to clean a comforter?
Comforter laundering (wash and fold) is $30 per comforter. Dry cleaning a comforter costs $48-55, depending on size, twin at $48, king/queen/double at $54, and down comforters at $55. Comforters can be included with your regular laundry pickup.
What are the turnaround times for each service?
Wash and fold is next-day delivery. Wash and press (laundry plus professional pressing) is also next-day delivery. Dry cleaning takes 5-7 business days. Alterations and tailoring take 7-10 business days. All services include free pickup and delivery throughout San Diego County.
